Is there anyway get around the protection on PSU for the PC (not AOTI) and play the game offline? I could care less about online game play, I just want to get back to the story of Ethen waber and kicking ass in Phantasy Star Universe. Another reason I'd like to play it on the PC is because I recently got a copy of the base game when someone moved out in the building and their crap was tossed into the garbage, it was in a box sitting beside the dumpsters outside so lucky me (and the game looks to be in decent shape too) I know theres protection on the game and without support or servers from SEGA anymore theres pretty much no way to play this games story mode offline without some way to get around protection (GameGaurd) to play offline considering that you still need a internet connection to start the game. I understand that Phantasy Star Universe is avilable for the PS2 and PC and while I can and have played it for the PS2 I'd like to play it on the PC for the better graphics/resolution compared to playing Phantasy Star Universe on a PS2 emulator (which can be a bit fuzzy and shaky due to interlacing). I rented this game a couple of times from BlockBuster years ago for the XBOX 360 before finally buying it for the system and enjoyed playing the game but eventually my XBOX 360 died and I haven't been able to afford a new one since. ![]()
